Christine Cormier is an accomplished mechanical engineering professional, with over 20 years of industry experience. Her employment in the automotive test system sector has provided a need for various specialized engineering proficiencies to fulfill the needs of the client. Christine has specialized during much of her career thus far in automotive powertrain testing systems development, which has demanded additional skills such as project management, technical management, and advanced mechanical analysis techniques.

Christine spent seven years living and working in Germany, and thus has also obtained knowledge of German and European engineering standards and practices. She has also become fluent in the German language, achieving both conversational as well as technical proficiency. Christine has thus become accustomed to working within international teams to disseminate knowledge base, and to better serve customers’ individual geographical requirements.

Christine has become a design to cost expert through the standardization and modularization of products according to market demand and pricing. She comes from an environment of constant technological advancement and innovation, keeping pace with the automobile research and development industry.

Christine has excelled in the engineering of rotating machinery and systems, with various successful designs in operation on several continents. Client satisfaction has always been a fundamental part of her approach to engineering.

During her tenure in special purpose machine design, Christine had to hone her vibration analysis skills in order to understand the dynamic response and interaction of complex rotating systems operating in variable speed ranges. This insight has been fed back into front end design processes to achieve a greater level of reliability of original designs.

Christine has endeavored to become more proficient at Vibration Measurement and Analysis through training courses and certification exams from the Vibration Institute. She has successfully achieved the status of Machinery Vibration Analyst Category III in October 2013 through the Vibration Institute. Her certification is valid through 2018.
